Brief biography

Manuel Domínguez-Dorado was born in Zafra, Extremadura (SPAIN) and completed his studies at the Polytechnic School of Cáceres (University of Extremadura) where he received the M.Sc. and the B.Sc. degrees in Computer Science in 2004 and 2006, respectively. He worked for various companies of the ICT sector before returning back to the University of Extremadura as a researcher. In 2007, he obtained the Certificate of Research Proficiency. He currently works as IT Chief Projects Office Manager (CPMO) for CENATIC (Spanish National Reference Center for the Application of ICT-based open source) while he finishes his dissertation. His areas of interest are Multiprotocol technologies, interdomain routing and interdomain PCE architecture environments, and the tasks of planning, coordinating, measuring and direction of large scale projects.
